The Booth Centre is an activities and advice centre for homeless people in Manchester. It has recently received recognition for the high quality of its work by being made one of the Department of Communities and Local Governments Champions for homelessness with a remit to promote best practice in providing these services.

We aim
  • To provide a safe and welcoming environment for people who are homeless.
  • To empower people to make informed choices and make positive changes in their lives.
  • To provide positive experiences in order to help people to build self respect and self-confidence and to look to the future.

We do this through
  • Providing a drop-in and activity centre for people who are homeless.
  • Offering advice to help people resolve their problems.
  • Providing a base for activities that are creative, therapeutic, challenging and enjoyable.
  • Giving people help to move on to education, training, employment and positive recreational activities in the community.
