Thanks to a 'Faiths in Action' grant from the Community Development Foundation, 5 schools will be able to participate in this trail for free. For more details please contact Pam Elliott

There are two key questions
  • Is it wrong to be rich when so many people are poor?
  • Is there too much poverty for us to be able to do anything about it?

these will be introduced at the introduction and referred to during the course of the day. Pupils will be encouraged to think about religious and humanist responses to these questions, as well as their own ideas and opinions.

Your pupils are encouraged to take photographs as a record of their visit (NB: they must not be used for commercial purposes) which we hope will form park of their response piece for our website (see separate task sheet).

Pupils should ask permission before taking photographs of members of the public or clients of the Booth Centre.

Please encourage your pupils to ask questions throughout the day. We would value your input in each session to enable pupils to get the best out of discuss and dialogue work.
